I always had retrievers as dogs my whole life. There smart, friendly, and playful. After my yellow was put down at the age of 17 I said it will be awhile before I get another lab. A friend of mine told me about this 4 month old rottweiler named Zeus that someone he knew had. Zeus wasn't allowed up in the house. He stayed in the basement most of the time. He wasn't neglected, he had a couch he slept on and was fed properly. I went to the house and saw the dog downstairs. It was love at first sight. This BIG beautiful puppy was staring at me. I felt so bad that he was kept in the basement. I have roughly 14 acres of land and no kids. So I decided to pressure the guy into giving me Zeus. He said he wasn't interested. About a week later he called me and said you can come and get Zeus if you want him. He'll probably be happier and have more attention with you. I'm happy to say Zeus know has his own queen size bed, runs on all the acreage, goes for rides all the time, plays ball almost every night, and swims everyday in the summer. I love rottweilers know. Labs are smart but rotti's have a scary smart to them. I don't even need to give Zeus a command. I can just talk to him like a human and it seems he knows what I'm saying. I never thought I'd own a rotti. I'm sooo glad I took the chance in Zeus.
