Well, I'm 7 months old I think and live in a house with my owner, her housemate, and my best friend Ella who is a Staffy and is 6 years older than me. I used to be much smaller than Ella but now I'm way bigger than her so haha Ella! When I first came to my current home I was getting over broken ribs, abuse and neglect. I was really timid and shy and nervous but my owner treated me gently and started introducing me to new things like her dog Ella, the local oval, the local shopping centre, the river and to her family. My owner had to take a course to help her train me. I naturally went along with her to make sure she was doing things properly. I met lots of other doggies who wanted to play with me but their owners wouldn't let me. I like to sit and to stay but can't drop too well. Not yet anyway. Ella and I go running every morning around the oval with our owner. Ella is good at fetching the ball - I can do that too but don't like giving it back. I want to make sure i look after my owner as much as she looks after me - I let her know when someone's coming to the door...or just walking past...or I just bark to get her attention. She'll walk out the door when I tell her and only comes back when I stop. She's made this really awesome dog run for both me and Ella during the day when she's at work. Ella gets lonely and wants to look for our owner but I make her stay by distracting her with the tug of war rope or the kongs. So really, I think I've got my owner trained pretty good for now. There's always room for improvement but I'm quite content for now. :-D
